Consultancy
I work with boards, leadership teams and HR functions on a consultancy basis, bringing my expertise and experience to the challenges that matter most. This is expert psychological input at the organisational level, applied with the same rigour and commercial understanding I bring to individual work.
What consultancy looks like
Consultancy engagements vary significantly depending on what the organisation needs. Common areas include:
— Organisational culture — diagnosis, assessment and change
— Psychological safety — understanding it, designing for it
— Leadership selection, assessment and development
— Succession planning and senior talent strategy
— Navigating significant change and its psychological impact on people
— Retained advisory — psychological expertise available on an ongoing basis
— Expert input on mental health and wellbeing strategy
I also work closely with HR Directors and Chief People Officers who want to embed psychological thinking more deeply into how their organisations to help develop and support senior leaders.
An external expert
My consultancy is always conducted with full independence. I’m not an extension of the HR function, I’m an external expert whose value comes partly from my ability to say what others inside the organisation can’t.
Everything I do is governed by the ethical code of the British Psychological Society and the Health and Care Professions Council.
Common questions
It is expert psychological input at the organisational level, for boards, leadership teams and HR functions. Common areas include organisational culture, psychological safety, leadership selection and assessment, succession planning and senior talent strategy, and the human impact of significant change.
I am not an extension of the HR function. I am an external expert whose value comes partly from being able to say what people inside the organisation cannot, and I bring psychological rigour alongside a real understanding of how businesses work.
Usually boards, leadership teams and HR or people functions, depending on the question being addressed. Engagements vary significantly in shape and length because they are designed around what the organisation actually needs.
All consultancy is conducted with full independence, and governed by the ethical codes of the British Psychological Society and the Health and Care Professions Council. What is agreed as confidential stays confidential, and we are clear about that from the outset.
