Speaking
I speak on the psychology of performance, leadership and human behaviour, drawing on 25 years working with senior leaders, business owners and entrepreneurs across some of the most well respected organisations globally. My talks translate complex psychological ideas into insight audiences recognise immediately, along with practical psychological tools they can implement in their professional and personal lives.
Typical subjects
Every speaking engagement is built around your audience, the occasion and the purpose of the event. Typical subjects I cover include:
— The psychology of high performance — what separates the best from the rest
— Above and below the surface — how inner psychology drives outer results
— Resilience, pressure and performing under stress
— Burnout — understanding it, and how to prevent it
— Leadership identity — who you are, not just what you do
— The psychology of decision-making in uncertain environments
— Psychological safety — why it matters and how to build it
— Women, ambition and the psychology of leadership
— Mental health at work — what leaders need to understand
Format and experience
I speak at conferences, leadership events, away days, internal programmes and corporate seminars. Keynote speech lengths are typically 45–60 minutes, shorter guest slots are typically 20–30 minutes, or I provide extended masterclasses with audience interaction. I am Equally comfortable with an intimate group of senior leaders or a conference audience of several hundred.
Previous engagements include Barclays, Aviva and AXA Bupa, and organisations across financial services, media, advertising and professional services.
